Hello ULAS Families,

Concert tickets are available for purchase in our online store. You have until midnight on May 7 to buy dinner tickets (it’s coming up quick!) After that, you can buy tickets to watch the “Show Only” online or at the door (cash only). If you need to make special arrangements for purchasing, contact Katrina. If you have questions about the meal, contact Brenda (780) 434-4288. Dancers will need a ticket if they’re staying for dinner. If your dancer is not staying for dinner, they do not need a ticket. Happy New Year to all dancers and families!
Hi Everyone,
Your volunteer executive board met this week and beyond wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, here’s some notes.
1. Winter Term Registration: for Viter, Kvitky, and Vesna 5:00, 5:30, and 6:30 Wednesday classes) will open soon for new dance friends wishing to join. The first class will be Jan 31st, 2024.
2. Solo/duet instruction available:
Two of our instructors, Victoria and Jordan, are available to teach solos or duets if any dancers are interested. These are generally choreographed for the intention of performing at dance festivals, and perhaps at our year-end concert. There are additional costs that are the responsibility of the dancer's family; instruction fee (price is set by the instructor), entrance fees at dance festivals, costume deposit (if using an additional club costume from St. Basil’s).
If you are interested you can directly speak with Victoria or Jordan after class, or reach out to Katrina to lease with instructors. Arrangements for choreography time are made directly with the instruction providing it. **Please note that dance festival entry fees are due the first week of January 2024, if you are considering entering a solo or duet.
3. Kupalo dancers and parents: any additional details specific to Kupalo will be communicated by Cindy.
